Hotel Reservations

A quota of rooms in different rate categories has been booked at attractive rates in the following hotels: Hilton Strand and Hotel Cumulus Hakaniemi.

Hotel reservations are to be done via the online registration form at the same time when registering into the conference in order to benefit from the special rates. All hotel reservations will be subject to availability. If you are two sharing a room, you both indicate the reservation on the registration form but only one participant needs to pay the hotel deposit, the other participant voids the deposit by ticking the option “I share a previously reserved double room”. Please, remember to indicate on the registration the name of the person you are sharing a room with. N.B. In Finland hotels have mainly non-smoking rooms and public premises or hotels have totally forbidden smoking in their premises.

Hotel Deposit

To guarantee your hotel reservation, a deposit of one night’s room rate is required in advance together with the registration fee. The deposit will be forwarded to the hotel and it will be deducted from your final hotel bill when checking out. All prices are per room per night, including breakfast and VAT. If you must cancel your reservation, see the cancellation and refund policy at registration page. Possible cancellations or changes to reservations should be made in writing by e-mail or fax with TAVI Congress Bureau at slf2012.conference@tavicon.fi or +358 3 233 0444.

Hilton Strand

Address: John Stenbergin ranta 4

High standard and stylish waterfront hotel, only 400 metres from the conference venue. Hilton Strand is located in Hakaniemi district, only 5 minutes tramride from Helsinki city centre. Rooms are spacious and airy and have wireless internet access.

Hotel Cumulus Hakaniemi

A new Cumulus hotel opened in the Hakaniemi district of Helsinki in April 2010, with good connections and lots of services nearby. Cumulus Hakaniemi is a cosy 152 room city hotel with lobby bar, breakfast restaurant and a mini-gym. Hotel is located close to the conference venue, less than 5 minutes walking distance.
