PAINTING THE FUTURE
The 19'th international SLF Congress 2009 invites you to attend our two day conference and get updated on the newest developments in coating science and technology. The subjects of the conference are Legislation and Environment, Coatings Science, Decorative Coatings, Industrial Coatings, Smart Coatings, Coating Testing & Analysis, Additives, Pigments and Fillers. Nearly 40 selected high quality papers in will be presented in 9 sessions. On contrary to most international paint conferences, where a large majority of the papers are presented by raw material suppliers, test institutes and academia, we are proud to announce that more that 25% of the papers given at the SLF Congress 2009 are given by paint producers such as Advanced Marine Coatings, Colorifico San Marco, Hempel, Jotun, Teknos and Tikkurila. For the first time ever the European Technical Coating Conference, ETCC, will take place as a plenary session at our conference. The theme of the ETCC is nano technology and smart coatings. The ETCC is a collaboration between the three major non-commercial paint associations in Europe, SLF, FATIPEC and OCCA.
